Numbering the
Each of a is a , numbered 1 to 7. Thinking in numbers lets you talk about any at once: "degree 5" is G in C , D in G , and so on.
Singers often use : do (1), re (2), mi (3), fa (4), sol (5), la (6), ti (7).
